Helping you expand your bankruptcy practice
The mission of the Virtual Bankruptcy Paralegal Service is to provide temporary help to law offices when their valued staff is on leave, overwhelmed with an influx of more cases than normal, or to assist offices that do only occasional bankruptcies and may not have the expertise in completing the forms.
A qualified bankruptcy paralegal is much more than merely a data entry person. A good paralegal knows which data to collect, when it’s relevant, where it goes on the forms and in the software, and is a second set of eyes for the attorney, spotting issues that need to be clarified or resolved.
No case is ever straightforward or truly simple, and successful and efficient resolution of the matter is best achieved by the partnered efforts of the attorney and his or her paralegal team working in harmony for the client.
All matters of law must be answered or determined by the attorney filing the case, but our staff can help make sure the attorney has the information needed to make those decisions and do the best job for the client.
Whether your regular paralegal is out temporarily, you are just starting out and can’t afford to hire someone full time, or you just need a short term boost in capacity, we can help get the job done during these interim periods.
“It has been my pleasure to work with Grace Farmer with Virtual Paralegal Services through LegalPRO. She has proven herself competent, efficient and cost effective. She is extremely knowledgeable in both the chapter 7 and chapter 13 realms and has been adaptable to the subtle differences in the local rules associated with my bankruptcy district. Without prompting, she has followed up with actual and potential issues affecting my filings. I look forward to a long lasting professional association.”
“I am a solo practitioner, and had my own assistant who did all my Chapter 7’s for 20+ years, but she recently retired. The transition to working with Grace [from LegalPRO Services] was very easy, and I felt completely comfortable with and confident of her abilities. She has a very thorough understanding not only of the forms, but also how the forms interact with each other, as well as being an expert with the BankruptcyPRO software. We have never met in person, but the exchange of information was also easy, and through a combination of emails, downloads, and phone calls (for which she was always available) we were able to work efficiently and effectively to get all the forms as well as many revisions into the final product – and she even filed the case for me! I would happily recommend her.”
